Diana K. Wakimoto (she/her) is an academic librarian and archivist at Cal State East Bay, located in Hayward, California, United States. Her research interests include graphic design and communication in libraries and archives, as well as the lived experiences of multiracial library workers. She is the author of the The Waki Librarian blog, where she writes about graphic design and libraries. She has authored many publications including her book Easy graphic design for librarians: From color to kerning. When not working, she enjoys pottery, reading, and spending time with family and friends. In this webinar Diane talks about the fundamentals that will help you design effective, engaging visual communications no matter whether you are designing for print or online.
