This workshop will cover a range of topics and learning objectives including:

• Why do we need to know about clinical trials and ongoing research
• Key trials and trials results registers including ClinicalTrials.gov, the WHO ICTRP and Cochrane CENTRAL
• Other resources to identify unpublished trial data including preprints, HTA sources and trial initiatives
• Clinical study reports
• Obtaining trial information from regulatory agencies including Canada Health, the (European) EMA and the (US) FDA
• Documenting and reporting searches
